Bare Bright Copper
This is the highest-value copper grade. It must be bare, uncoated, and unalloyed wire not thinner than 16 gauge.
No. 1 Copper Wire & Tubing
Consists of clean, unalloyed copper wire, tubing, and sheets. Must be free of solder, paint, and burnt insulation.
No. 2 Copper Joint Scrap
Contains solder, paint, or oxidation. Typically copper pipes with brass fittings or burnt wires from motors.
